Volunteer Mentor - 'Braking the Cycle' (PCYC Cairns)

PCYC Qld (Qpcywa-Police Citizens Youth Club)

Do you have 1 - 4 hours per week to mentor a disadvantaged young person aged 17 - 25?

We are calling for a motivated and reliable Volunteer Mentor to support learner drivers without access to a supervisor or a registered vehicle to complete their logbook hours. As a volunteer, you would only be matched with a suitable participant with whom you feel comfortable mentoring.

The Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association (QPCYWA) is a community-based organisation concerned with the development of youth through the provision of sporting and recreational activities. The QPCYWA has established 54 Police-Citizens Youth Clubs (PCYCs) throughout the State and now has an active membership in excess of 73,000 members state-wide.

One of the many programs PCYC Queensland delivers is the Braking the Cycle program. Braking the Cycle aims to provide young people with increased employment opportunities, community connection and driver education.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
