This rewarding volunteer position involves assisting the RSPCA OP Shop truck driver at our West Burleigh Op Shop, by collecting donated items from the local area and delivering furniture to customers once purchased. There could also be odd jobs/errands that need to be done. As the number of driving jobs vary depending on the day any successful applicants will be required to assist in the sorting section at the Op Shop while not out in the vehicle.

What are the tasks?

• Loading and unloading the vehicle
• Delivering purchased furniture and other goods to customers
• Collecting furniture and other goods that have been donated
• Ad hoc driving jobs as requested by staff and volunteers

What skills and characteristics do I need?

• A passion for animals and animal welfare
• Sound driving ability with clean open driver's license
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Able to work independently
• Confident, outgoing, with great communication skills
• Physically fit and able to lift 10kgs
