St John Community Care is a well-respected and trusted volunteer service that has supported older people throughout the Adelaide Metropolitan Area for nearly 30 years. This position is seeking someone who would like to visit a lady in her late 70's who is of Serbian background. The lady lives at Chandler's Hill and finds it difficult getting out of her home due living in a hilly area and her mobility. She would love to go out for a drive, a coffee and visit the shops once a fortnight for a couple of hours. All out of pocket expenses including mileage and meals are covered by St John. If you have the ability to communicate with a lady who speaks Serbian with basic English skills, we would love to hear from you and let you know more about the wonderful difference you can make in your community.
