Processes which the Kitchen cleaner /helper may be asked to help with include:

 Completing various tasks as per the cleaning schedule as directed by the chef and signing off on these  Washing up and stowing  General cleaning in the kitchen  Helping with final preparation to get ready for the next working day – vegetables/labeling containers etc.  Washing up and keeping the work areas clear and clean is an ongoing task throughout the shift.  Sweeping the floor, mopping if appropriate

At the end of the shift, the washing up should be completed and work areas cleaned.
