mecwacare's Fisher Street Centre in Malvern East is home to our Disability Services programs. Participants undertake individualised programs and access is available to participants from the southern and eastern metropolitan regions of Melbourne. The program offers choice, diversity and active participation for people with primarily an intellectual disability and who may also have either a physical or mental health disability.

Volunteering with our social support programs will enable you to volunteer alongside our qualified staff who will offer you guidance and mentoring, while fulfilling your desire to support our disability clients.  Previous experience in caring for a person with a disability is preferred although not essential.

At this time we are not taking on new volunteers, however for some volunteer roles we are able to conduct telephone in readiness for when volunteering resume.
