About the opportunity We are looking for a committed and caring Volunteer Bus Driver to assist with the transportation of residents at IRT Woodlands. The successful volunteer will be able to adhere to the bus schedule, pick up residents from various locations and provide assistance with access and egress from the bus. You will also be responsible for performing basic maintenance checks such as tyre pressure, oil and water levels and completing the Pre-Start Checklist prior to each trip.

We’re looking for volunteers who: • Are interested in working with older people • Have experience in driving passenger vehicles • Hold a valid drivers licence • Have good communication and interpersonal skills • Have basic manual handling skills or willingness to attend training • Hold a current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain (desirable)
