WHO ARE BUDDIES DAY'S FOR? Children aged 8-12 years who are involved in our Buddies Day program come from a variety of backgrounds who benefit from community development.

WHAT TO EXPECT... Buddies Volunteers are part of a team who plan and facilitate the program. Expect to meet inspirational young people who do their best with life's challenges. You do not need to have experience working with children as all training will be provided.

The Everton Park Buddies Day program is held on the 3rd Saturday of the month. In addition to the monthly program, Vinnies Youth also hosts an annual camp for Buddies Day participants

A bit about Vinnies... The St Vincent de Paul Society is one of the most recognised charitable organisations that offers ‘a hand up’ to people in need. We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope and encouraging them to take control of their destiny by providing practical support, advocacy and friendship. St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland is proactive in supporting child safety.
