The Suncoast Spinners 14th annual wheelchair basketball tournament is a unique event. The three grade competition brings together over 150 wheelchair basketballer's in what is regarded as the largest wheelchair sporting event nationally. The tournament caters to beginners through to Australia's elite athletes while also providing a supportive social event for people with disability. The Tournament committee work hard to keep costs at a minimum providing affordable sporting opportunities for participants. To achieve this Suncoast Spinners relies on volunteers to staff many roles including Score Bench duties. Approximately 92 games will be played over the three days with 2 -3 score bench staff needed for each game. Score Bench experience will be beneficial but not necessary. Training can be provided before the tournament and during the event. Inexperienced staff will be placed with experienced staff.
