We at Ted Noffs Foundation, support young people in the ACT with their problematic drug use. We have two sites in Canberra, one in Watson where our rehab is based, and this role is based. And we have a second drop in site at Civic called Street Uni. We are looking for someone with skills in the kitchen to help prepare and arrange daily morning teas/lunch and arvo teas for young people in the rehab, and prepare snack packs for the outreach clients that come into the Street uni who may not have eaten in a few days. For the role you will need to know your way around a kitchen, have a creative mind to make meals out of random things, and have a sense of humour as the young people are a lovely but excitable bunch. We are looking at running this role Monday to Friday, with one or five candidates, with a start time of around 10:30am till around 1:30pm each day.
