St John (Qld) provides a community transport service in Townsville and further afield offering a safe, assisted, personal and reliable transport option.

Volunteer drivers are required to provide safe and assisted door-to-door community transport to the Townsville community including: - Medical appointments - Shopping centres - Visiting family and friends - Social outings and group day trips - Church, community and cultural groups and activities.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a majority of these services are still provided but altered in line with government guidelines. The health and safety of our staff, volunteers and clients are our utmost priority.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Current Qld Open Drivers Licence; Safe Driving Record; Ability to obtain a Blue Card, National Police Check, Drivers Authorisation; First Aid training (we can provide) Ability to maintain confidentiality
