EM Tooth Residential Aged Care Facility is a fully-accredited aged care facility strengthened by a team of value-driven professionals who sincerely care about what they do and what they bring to our organisation and residents.

Our qualified and caring Anglicare staff are are seeking the support of volunteers who are creative and patient to engage with our residents and supporting our staff to deliver regular art classes.

Skills & Qualities • Organise and assist with the facilitation of an art class • Assist with the preparation, set up and clean-up • Experience as an Artist or teaching art classes • Assist residents to engage in the activity by providing gentle encouragement and guidance • A genuine interest in people and making a difference in their lives • A friendly personality and good interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to develop rapport and interact positively with residents • Understand and respect confidentiality and privacy of residents and Anglicare • Maintain professional boundaries and work within the policies and procedures of Anglicare • Reliable, flexible and motivated to make a difference

Expectations • Availability – at least one shift (4 hours) per week, Monday to Sunday between the hours of 8am and 5pm • Consistency and reliability – willing to commit to an ongoing basis • Two (2) referees – who are not relatives and can verify your character and interaction in the community (ie. Work Colleague, Church Elder, Community Leader , Doctor or other Professional) • National Police Certificate – undergo a national police check and we will coordinate and pay for this to be processed
