Inclusion Melbourne is one of the providers of the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS), funded by the Australian Government. Our Volunteers visit recipients in their home or in an aged care facility and provide companionship and friendship and reduce the effects of isolation.

Volunteer visitors may share stories, go for a stroll, listen to music or play a game. As a CVS volunteer you play a vital role in improving the quality of life of the person through ongoing companionship.

Competencies:

Warmth, a caring attitude, empathy, good communication skills . Reliability and a willingness to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months is important.
