Volunteers are the backbone of our Organization. Without them, we could not offer the services as we do to victims of crime. Volunteer duties are varied and matched according to a volunteer’s skills and knowledge, including but not limited to:

Providing practical and emotional support and information for victims at the time of the crisis through our 24-hour phone help line. Provide support to victims, their families and prosecution witnesses during their contact with the court and justice system. Contacting victims with follow up information about the offender or the offence Contributing the victim’s perspective at conferences where the victim themselves is not able to attend Represent VoCNT at shows, expos and community activities to promote awareness of the organisation’s services Act as reception and first point of enquiry for VoCNT, at all times providing a warm and welcoming response and assist with an array of other administrative duties
