Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Work with staff at Musculoskeletal Australia (MSK) to identify "in scope" grant opportunities
  • Work with staff at MSK to gather & develop content for grant applications
  • Write grant applications and work with GM Corporate Services to submit applications

Skills and Experience: The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills and knowledge:

  • Proven experience in grant seeking, grant writing and grant management
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management
  • Sophisticated writing and articulate communication skills

Training and Induction:

  • Meet and great with CEO & the Executive Team at MSK to understand their vision for the organisation and the role grant writing plays in helping to achieve this
  • One on one meeting with GM Corporate services to review of the organisations strategic plan with a view to understanding key priority areas for grant applications
  • Meet with program managers and staff to learn our suite of programs and services
  • Revision of MSK Policies and Procedures
  • Review & signing of volunteer agreement.
