Variety - the Children’s Charity, is a national not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn. By giving practical equipment, programs and experiences, Variety helps children in need to overcome whatever obstacles they face and live life to the fullest – simply put, we help kids be kids.

Woolworths have been in partnership with Variety since 2013 and have raised over $10 million for kids in need across NSW and the ACT.   Every year Woolworths teams and customers raise funds through token sales, bake sales, sausage sizzles, buckets collections and much more.  We are looking for fundraising volunteers to support their local Woolworths store with fundraisng activities for Variety.  Variety is allocated around 4 weekends in Woolworths stores throughout the year and we are looking for individuals to commit to at least 2 weekends a year.  Activities may include collecting donations or running activities such as sausage sizzles or raffles.  All activities will be agreed with the store before the day and you will have the opportunity to really take ownership of the relationship and work with the store to plan in fun activities to raise much needed funds for Variety.

You will need to be confident in speaking to the general public about Variety and asking for donations as well as able to meet with store prior to the fundraising weekend to plan in activities.

2 - 4 weekend commitment throughout the year.  Specific times to be agreed with the store but volunteers will be asked to commit to at least 3 hours over the weekend.

A Variety t-shirt will be provided.
