The NT Major Events Company is delivering an outdoor exhibition by world renowned artist Bruce Munro: Tropical Light, from 1 November 2019 until 30 April 2020 during Darwin's Tropical Summer. The exhibition will take place in Darwin (CBD and Waterfront locations).

Volunteers are being sought as exhibition hosts, artwork minders and visitor engagement promoters for the duration of this exhibition.

Whether it’s two, six or 26 shifts that you’re able to commit to, we welcome everyone’s assistance on the exhibition. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a great project that will see new visitors come to Darwin and to show them what a wonderful, unique place we live in, as well as opportunities to create great new experiences for locals and visitors to enjoy.

In addition, every volunteer becomes part of our Tropical Light 200 Club. This club is working with the charity CanTeen. This means Territory businesses and individuals can sponsor a Tropical Light volunteer and every shift worked will earn a $100 donation for CanTeen, with the potential donation of $2,600 per volunteer and a total $520,000 across the program. Your volunteer service will help raise funds in continuing to support services for Northern Territory and South Australian families living with cancer.
