The volunteer will meet with the person with a disability at their home on a fortnightly basis and go with them to their local train station and catch a train to their required destination and back home.

Working with Children Check

* DHS Working with Children Check and a DHS Disability Services Employment Screening - free for volunteers. * Referee check. * Complete compulsory training organised by PQSA. Please Note: * As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance). * Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role be a maximum of 15-16 hours per week.
