The Christmas season is one of the busiest times for The Salvation Army to help Australians doing it tough. When you volunteer as a pick and pack assistant at the Abbotsord warehouse you help prepare kits for the running of The Salvation Army’s vast network of social services.  We can't do this without your help!

The Salvos Christmas resource Packing Team in Abbotsford is offering a great team-building activity for up to 12 people! Come on board for this satisfying and productive activity assisting in the packing and loading for the Salvos most important fundraising activity for the year - the Red Shield Appeal.

After a briefing on the work of The Salvation Army, your day will encompass light warehouse duties, sorting out stock and packing up in boxes and labelling. Get alongside your team members, working together for that satisfying feeling of seeing your accomplishments at the end of the day, knowing too that you have played a vital role in helping the Salvos help those in need.

Friendly, relaxed warehouse environment, close to public transport. Plenty of great cafes or Yarra Blvd parks for lunch and free on site parking.

Order picking and packing days are; Nov 6th, 7th, 8th, 20th, 21st or 22nd 9am-3pm each day

Up to 12 volunteer positions available per day. Due to the popularity of this event, places and days will not be held without confirmation and paperwork complete.

Please wear close-toed, non-slip shoes, casual clothes. This role is in a warehouse environment, so please dress appropriate to the weather. BYO lunch or purchase locally. Car parking available on site but public transport close by.
