The Mayors Christmas Tree Appeal is a community favourite and the Council is calling for volunteers who love all things Christmas and are passionate about Townsville as a community.

The VIP Cocktail Party this year will be a Rio Carnival themed evening with special guest appearances from the North Queensland Cowboys, live entertainment, raffles and an auction.

The VIP event is looking for volunteers to assist with tasks including setting up, ushering at the front door of the event and assisting in selling raffles during the night.

100% of the proceeds go to the Mayors Christmas Tree Appeal.
