Social connection is a vital part of ageing well. You can make a difference to someone's life.

We have a lovely elder who lives in our aged care home in St Kilda Rd, and would love some company from a friendly, patient and reliable volunteer, particularly one who shares his love of philosophy.

You would visit him once a week, and provide much needed companionship.  You may even like to occasionally go out for a drive in the sunshine. You must have a full licence and an excellent driving history.

Jewish Care will assist you to undertake a police check, and will provide orientation, training and ongoing support as required.
