Requirements

National Police Certificate

Worklink has a new program where they train people in basic computer/device skills and then these people help others who need help with computers or devices. They are looking for volunteers who may be interested. The training will be from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Friday 18th or 25th October (morning tea provided) and as part of this they will provide a Police Clearance. Then, they are running full day workshops for the public to attend on Friday 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th November, plus 6th, 13th and 20th December. Volunteers who have completed the training will be asked to attend one or more of these workshops to give one-on-one help to members of the public. There may be other opportunities for volunteers to use their training in other forums in the future.
