A leading not-for-profit agency providing care and support to people in Sydney, across a wide range of social services, is seeking Volunteers to assist with their Club Care Program.

The Club Care Program aims to identify and engage with participating club patrons who may be exhibiting risk factors related to gambling, alcohol and other relevant issues, in order to promote the wellbeing of the community. As a Volunteer you would provide companionship to Club Care clients and help to facilitate their access to a number of social and essential services, as directed by the Program’s trained staff. You may also assist with workshops and/or group programs that are facilitated by the Program’s trained staff.

Tasks may include (but not be limited to):

  • Sharing a meal or a coffee/tea
  • Assisting with form filling
  • Assisting with computer/online access to services and information
  • Interpreting or translating of information where applicable

Volunteers are needed Thursdays and Fridays, for a minimum of two hours per week, between the hours of 10am and 4pm. The ability to speak Vietnamese would be a definite advantage, but is in no way essential.

If you would like to support this Program and the local community, we would love to hear from you!

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
