Marketing/Communications Volunteer
School for Life Foundation Australia LimitedResponsibilities:
- Working with the Australian Fundraising Team to develop the content required for campaigns, regular giving programs, fundraising and communications.
- Australian Fundraising Team to identify, plan and collect narratives, photos, audio visuals and other medial ,materials for communication and fundraising.
- Write and coordinate production of a variety of engaging content for digital and print media, and marketing communications that can be used by our supporters.
- Procure content for posts including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, and twitter.
- Collate material for monthly newsletter, blog and stories for website publishing and other communications avenues.
- Constantly identify ways to imp[rove marketing material and contribute to the development of the sponsorship program.
Requirements:
- Strong creative writing skills and the ability to write in a professional yet personal style.
- Ability to develop engaging supporter communications for social media and other marketing documents.
- Diploma/Degree in Communications or Marketing viewed favourably.
- Detail oriented.
- Team player.
- Energetic, consistent and dedicated personality.Design editing skills (Indesign and Publisher) viewed favourably.
- Willingness to learn and continuing commitment to improvement.
- Be flexible, open minded, tolerant and appreciate the complexities of working in a rapidly growing charity in a developing country.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative

- Build 3 schools in Uganda
- Educate 1,000 students annually including feeding them 3 nutritious meals a day
- Employ more than 120 adults as teachers, construction workers, cooks and support staff
- Provide clean drinking water sources to 2 communities
- Provide 2 health Clinics with full time nurses to treat students and staff
- Provide solar power and bio-digesters to increase our sustainability
- Build sustainable businesses employing local people.
