Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sit with patrons in a companionable setting and enjoy a cuppa and or a meal
• Occasionally serve/carry a meal to patrons
• Assist patrons making tea and coffee when kitchen is closed between meals
• Occasional light cleaning (wiping down a table or helping to clean up after a spill)
• Provide a calm and welcoming presence for all by sharing friendly conversations
• Gain an understanding of the needs of our patrons through active listening
• Attend volunteer meetings, relevant training days and in-service days as scheduled
• Attend volunteer review sessions with Kitchen Coordinator and or Manager
• Minimum hours per session: Breakfast 9:00 am till 1:00 pm (Mon to Fri) Lunch 12:00pm till 4:00 pm (Mon to Fri) Dinner 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm (Tues and Wed)
