Chatswood Library Craft group Coordinator
Willoughby City CouncilWilloughby City Council is setting up an exciting new Craft Group, which will be based at Chatswood library. We are looking for a volunteer to help coordinate and facilitate the group, welcome and encourage new members and assist with craft projects.
We are looking for someone who loves and knows craft – from paper quilling to papier-mache, egg painting to string art and more, and is friendly and approachable with a passion for crafting in the community.
The aim of this group is to provide the community with the chance to craft and make things to help connect, learn and switch off for a bit.
You don't need to be a professional crafter, but a passion for a variety of craft mediums and a basic knowledge of different crafts. This groups in envisaged as a space for people to come together and craft - you will not be formally teaching different crafts, more facilitating the group and helping others with their crafts.
We are looking for a volunteer to bring people together over a variety of projects on a regular (probably monthly) basis. The time and days that the group will meet will be confirmed with volunteer depending on your availability.
