Can you sew? We are holding a very special event in the September school holidays at Capalaba Park Shopping Centre. We will be setting up a temporary Teddy Bear Hospital inside the shopping centre. Children and their soft toys will be invited in to visit and see our special Teddy Bear Doctors (that could be you!)

As a volunteer you will be supplied hospital scrubs to wear for your shift. You will help the visiting children to perform check-ups on their soft toys and you will be required to give the soft toys band aids and bandages as necessary. You may be asked to also help sew and repair actual holes in the soft toys, so it is beneficial if you have some sewing ability too. You do not need to be an expert sewer though, basic skills are fine.Other duties you may be assigned on the day include selling Mater Foundation merchandise and raffle tickets.
