The Maylands Street Festival is back bigger and better on Sunday 10th of November from 1pm to 7pm. Brought to you by Local Arts and Community Events (LACE) Inc, a Not for Profit, 100% volunteer-run community events group, the festival this year is celebrating all things Maylands with gourmet food trucks, artesan market stalls, live music and buskers, roving children’s and family entertainment, bars not to mention our local retailers, cafes and businesses will be open and so much more. This event is going to be great family friendly day out for young and old And you can be a part of it as we are looking for dedicated volunteers to help us make this year’s festival the best ever! We are looking for enthusiastic people who would love to come down and help us bring this festival to life. Be it just yourself, a group of friends, or maybe your work or sports team. We Need You. There a range of positions to fill, in the morning prior to the festival, during the festival and in the evening after the festival. Shifts can be as short as two hours so you will have plenty of time to help us out and enjoy all of the fun of the festival!

From helping us set up the event and bumping in the vendors in the morning, helping our visitors to the festival find their way around, to collecting rubbish, assisting with parking and traffic management, or pack down and clean up after the event, we have a wide variety of things that we need help with on the day suitable for all ages
