Pyjama Fun Run Volunteer!

Monash Health is hosting a Pyjama Fun Run raising funds for equipment and research.
We are seeking 65 committed and friendly people to help create the best possible event, and best of all – you won’t even need to get out of your Pyjamas!
Volunteers are such an integral part of any charity event, and it’s because of people like you that we can further assist our adult & child patients.
Roles include: Set up: 6:30am – 11:00am, 4 volunteers · Assist in setting up event site · Putting up signage · Setting up furniture/infrastructure · Bib collection/Registration role from 8:30am – 11am
Bib collection / Registrations: 8:00am –**11:00am, 11 volunteers** · Distributing bibs to participants · Processing cash payments and credit card transactions for on-the-day entries · Pedestrian Management / directing participants to correct line · Assist participants in completing registration forms prior to lining up· Providing general event information and directions · Set up/pack down of area
Course Marshal: 9:30am –**1:00pm, 25 volunteers** · Help create a SAFE and fun, friendly atmosphere · Marshalling the course and providing directional support for participants · Ensure the course is clear and safe for participants at all times · Report any issues on the course such as medical incidents, bottlenecking, spectator invasion, etc. to their Supervisor. · Distributing water and engaging with participants · Keeping the area tidy · Some walking will be required to get to their marshal point
Finish line: 10:30am –**1:30pm, 4 volunteers** · Encouraging participants across the finish line · Distribute medals to participants at the finish line · Celebrating their achievement · Directing participants back into the 'event zone' to enjoy the day’s activities
Food will be provided on the day. You will also receive a sleep mask and a certificate of appreciation
To get in to the spirit of the event we encourage wearing your pyjamas on the day!
