The Food Room Assistant will work within the Doorways Emergency Relief Team at the Bunbury Corps site at Timperley Road. They will pack away and suitably display food and other grocery type items for assistance to those attending appointments for welfare. They will also work with clients receiving food and other assistance from The Salvation Army. The Food Room Assistant must possess excellent verbal communication and show empathy and compassion to those who may be disadvantaged. Experience in food handling is desirable but not essential. The volunteer must be willing to conduct a police check and the organisations induction program.
