Arafmi Ltd supports family members, friends and carers of those who have a mental health issue. One of the services that we provide is a 24 Hour Telephone Support Line.

During office hours calls are taken by staff members.

After hours, that is the evening, overnight, weekends and public holidays Arafmi is seeking volunteers to take calls from our carers to provide emotional support, information and/or referral - as determined by the caller.

Arafmi will provide training for this role.

This role is suitable for: • students of counselling, human services, social work, nursing or similar • retired professionals or • people with experience caring for someone with mental illness • people with good listening and communication skills
