The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of bestchance.

Can you help us out with this project based role? Commencing in October and going through to December you will be assisting with fundraising opportunities including out Christmas Family Appeal.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the Christmas Family Appeal project including:
• Develop a plan for implementing the Family Appeal to gain as many contributions as required
• Marketing, advertising, fundraising and collecting donations
• Working autonomously to establish client relationships and source new business
• Working as part of a team including with other volunteers

Skills and Experience:

• Well developed verbal and written communication skills
• Highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills
• Work experience and/or qualifications in fundraising and donation projects
• Be willing to volunteer 1-2 days a week during business hours (days and hours flexible)
• Have a current Working With Children Check (volunteer)
