Special Olympics Australia is currently seeking a qualified Basketball Head coach who can plan  and run a basketball session.The Coach should be able to adapt to the activities/drills according to the athletes' ability and skill level.A strong willingness to commit to the weekly trainings , annual schedule and take shared responsibility of running the program.

**Competencies / Skills required: ** • Good communication skills • Flexibility • Ability to inspire and motivate others • Well-developed interpersonal skills• • Good time management skills

Experience / Education Required:

•  Athletics coaching accreditation  • Has relevant experience

**Desirable: ** • Previous Basketball coaching experience • Knowledge of Special Olympics Australia and it's programs

Time requirement: Monday evenings  6 p.m- 8.30 p.m

Special Olympics Australia is a child safe organization and conducts relevant checks as part of a volunteer screening.
