As a volunteer you will be working with fellow volunteers and Area Managers Seeking Team Members and Team Supervisors. This voluntary position is not store specific, the position will vary between both the bric-a-brac and clothing store as needed.

The role of Retail Shop Assistant involves: -Processing sales on simple register – cash and eftpos -Opening and Closing of the Store -Sorting and categorizing donations -Pricing, hanging, steaming and displaying stock -Filling shop displays from excess in backroom -Customer Service – greeting and assisting customers -General housekeeping duties -Organise for returns to be sent back to the Warehouse -Maintaining an organized and tidy back room.

This is a great opportunity if you’re seeking retail work experience, recently retired or looking to meet some new people. We’ll show you what to do and provide all the training you’ll need.
