A Community Organisation whose mission is to build a strong, inclusive community that overcomes disadvantage, is seeking Volunteers to assist with their Food Relief Program.

Food insecurity is a big problem, requiring a big collaborative response. So, in conjunction with OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, this Organisation brings some much needed relief to those in their local community that need it most.

About The Role:

• Lifting of heavy crates from the OzHarvest truck
• Unpacking food deliveries
• Set up of food ready for community members to take
• Volunteers are needed Wednesdays, 3pm-5pm

About You:

• Capacity to work as a part of a friendly team of Staff and Volunteers
• Must be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved
• Commitment to volunteering for at least 6 months
• Friendly and non-judgemental
• Willing to follow instructions
