An opportunity has arisen to help support our Women and Children in a Family Support capacity.  This role would involve a commitment of 6-12 months pending the requirements of the family.  This role would require the volunteer to be empathic, compassionate, supportive and open to assisting the family in their secure location.

Emerge Women & Children’s Support Network is an independent organisation delivering 24/7 housing and support services to women and children at a time of crisis; and provides vital outreach to women and children living in the community, often with perpetrators in their own home. Founded over 40 years ago, Emerge is the leading family violence and housing service in southern metro Melbourne, supporting women and children from across Victoria. We offer a  to live and support women while they navigate the myriad of services to start again.
