Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) volunteers provide companionship to socially isolated residents living in home or in aged care facilities on a one to one basis or group sessions.

The Community Visitors Scheme seeks volunteers to visit with residents of an aged care facility matching them in their interests, hobbies, background and life experiences. The volunteer is required to visit the resident at least once a fortnight, working sensitively and positively developing a relationship with a resident. Visits should be spent doing something you both enjoy.
