Volunteering Sunshine Coast (VSC) is committed to helping our community by offering the following assistance:

-support people to make informed choices about volunteer work -assist people who are seeking paid employment to participate in volunteer work with a view to keeping skills updated, renewing skills and building self esteem -refer volunteers to not-for-profit organisations across all sectors of the community -encourage the government, community and corporate sectors to recognise the value of volunteering.

The position of Membership Officer is to: • Talk regularly with our clients [member organizations] to help with their needs • Seek out potential new members and tell them what we do and how good we are • Keep records and feed our Accounts Officer with any billing details • Join the other VSC staff to be innovative, have fun, and a build great place to live.

If you get bored, you can also:

• help keep more records
• talk even more to our clients and find out what they are doing and what they need
• Provide stories and interesting things to our Media Officer, who write great stuff
• Help the other staff at VSC with things that may need doing - team building.
