Structure The committee shall consist of one member of the National Board of Camp Quality and 4-6 volunteers who have the appropriate skills to support the committee’s purpose. The State Manager NSW/ACT will provide administrative support and contact. Membership 

  • Each member of the committee would serve on the committee for a 2-year term after which date they will step down from the committee to allow for fresh membership.
  • Each member will commit to a specific revenue target as set by the Chair of the ACT Strategic Revenue committee in consultation with the CEO and State Manager NSW/ACT.
  • Other Board members, who are not Committee members, are invited to attend all meetings.
  • Ex-officio members will include the CEO, Head of Services and Programs, GM: Corporate Services and other State Managers. In general, the State Manager NSW/ACT will be responsible for working the Committee Chair to generate each meeting’s agenda and produce minutes.

 Meetings 

  • Meetings shall be held in person each quarter. Those unable to attend the meeting face to face may dial in, however each member is to commit to three out of the four meetings in person.
  • All resolutions of the Committee are to be referred to the Board for approval.

Access and Reporting 

  • The Committee has the authority to seek the information it requires from the Leadership Team of Camp Quality.
  • As appropriate, and in consultation with the Leadership team, the Committee may seek independent advice.
  • The minutes from each Committee meeting will be tabled at the next scheduled Board meeting.

Duties and Responsibilities Without limiting the scope of the ACT Strategic Revenue Committee, it fundamentally exists to provide strategic support to the CEO, State Manager NSW/ACT and the wider Leadership Team on the following areas:

  • Help in identifying, building and leveraging corporate and business opportunities/ relationships to meet corporate partner targets and convert targets from potential supporters to secured supporters.
  • Identify High Net Worth Individuals and work with the Leadership Team and specifically the State Manager NSW/ACT to convert from potential supporters to secured supporters.
  • Consider recommendations from the Leadership Team on the execution of national revenue and awareness raising campaigns and how to leverage this in the ACT Market.
  • Connecting with potential supporters and key sponsors for major events and campaigns and identify sponsorship opportunities.

Outside the scope are items such as:

  • Specifics relating to general business operations such as details of event management, content of donor letters, recognition of donors, website development etc
  • Charitable licensing concerns or financial audit processes
  • Risk mitigation.
