The Head and Neck Cancer Support Group like all cancer support groups is an effective and powerful means for men and women to learn about up to date evidence based information pertaining to their cancer and its treatments as well as receive emotional support from sharing with and hearing from others who understand. Volunteers who elect to Co Facilitate these monthly group meetings find the role to be highly rewarding, not only from the privilege of sharing in the cancer journeys of members but also due to learning a great deal about cancer and its treatment which they can then pass on to others. The Support Groups are held at our Cancer Council Tasmania's Cancer Support Centre in Sandy Bay.
