Due to recent growth Mood Active is seeking a President to oversee and help shape the future of our not-for-profit charity association. The individual we are looking would chair committee meeting, however we are also looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and is able to everage networks to open doors for Mood Active and raise further funds to support our growth.

Mood Active is in a strong growth phase, so it's the ideal time to rejuvenate its committee. Association Founder Cam Wilson is stepping down as President after six years; both he and the current Vice President remain on the Committee.  The (non-committee) General Manager, previously a Committee member, remains in her role. Their experience and skills continue to support the organisation.

• Volunteer appointment is for a minimum two-year term
• Approximate commitment is 12-16 hours per month
• Required to attend 10 Committee meetings per year in the eastern suburbs of Sydney (some will be by phone link), plus two strategic planning sessions annually and at least one fundraising event, invited to attend staff gatherings & social events
• Represent Mood Active at networking events to help the organisation grow

The successful President will have the following attributes:

• Board, committee or governance role experience
• Community and/or corporate networks that can be leveraged to open doors for Mood Active.
• Experience leading the development of a long-term organisation strategy
• Health sector / NFP knowledge beneficial
• Passionate about using exercise to benefit own mental health
