Melbourne Writers Festival is an immersive literary arts festival that brings people together to celebrate words, stories and the humans who create them. Each year we invite our audience to be challenged, be entertained, to learn and be inspired through a buzzing program of storytelling, conversation and discussion, intellectual debate, educational programs, live performance, music and art events.

Melbourne Writers Festival is an annual literary festival. This year the festival will be based out of the State Library of Victoria. In our Green Room, we have been gifted a espresso coffee machine. We are looking for volunteers to help us make coffees for our artists.

We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, confident communicators who can handle the pressure of serving coffee to our artists.

The role is best suited to people who have barista skills but are  looking for experience or volunteers who have a lot of experience.

All volunteers receive a Festival t-shirt and a Volunteer Pass, gaining entry to all standard MWF events that aren’t sold out.

Driver Volunteer shifts are roughly four to five hours long. You will need to be available to volunteer for at least 4 shifts between 31 August to 8 September.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
