Facilitate residents’ access to venues, events and recreational opportunities. Ensure recreational pursuits are facilitated to maximise the residents’ independence, while also encouraging them to maintain external contacts associated with community recreational facilities. Liaise with other members of the team regarding structure and development of programs. Maintain accurate records regarding residents’ recreation participation and contact with recreation staff.

The objective of the position is to: •Decrease social isolation of older people living in Wintringham Housing, increasing recreation activities. •Assist when necessary in the maintenance of and relevant documentation.
