Chats offers a variety of activities to older Tasmanian's who are living independently and at risk of isolation: bus trips, regular activities and special interest groups/clubs. Chats bus trips can be half or full day from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm; participants are picked up from home/Chats hubs and driven to an interesting location. Participants may be having lunch, engaging in activities of interest such as garden viewing, museum visit, etc. and then being dropped off at the Hubs or their home. Chats regular outings can be scheduled on a regular basis – weekly, fortnightly, monthly or seasonal.

The driver for this role will have the assistance of an Activity Host to ensure smooth running of the day. The Driver’s main responsibility is to drive the Chats 12 seater vehicle and ensure the transport provided conforms to all Passenger Transportation and Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
