Web Content Writer

Hobart Women's Shelter

This role will involve updating our website and publishing relevant news stories, reports, updates and events on our website and Facebook page.

In addition the Web Content Writer will research web usage and contribute to analytical reports; proofread content and grammar and make changes where necessary.

The Web Content Writer will be expected to represent Hobart Women’s Shelter positively and professionally, to maintain confidentiality and adhere to Hobart Women’s Shelter code of conduct.

Training

Induction training to the Hobart Womens shelter will be provided.

Time required

The role requires someone who can commit to about 4 hours a week. We would also ask for a minimum 6 months commitment.

Reimbursement

Fees to obtain Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People check will be provided.

National Police Certificate
Working with Children Check

We are looking for someone with: • Experience in IT, web design and social media • Strong written communication skills • An ability to work with a wide range of people In addition you must be female and over eighteen years. Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.
