A Volunteer is needed to teach English to a class of seniors from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds. The aim of the class is to help adults to improve their level of English conversation in a friendly, non-threatening environment and to build confidence in speaking and understanding English.

The classes run on Mondays during school terms, between 10am and 12pm. Previous experience in ESL teaching would be a great advantage, however a strong interest in teaching and working with migrants would be looked upon favourably. You must have a strong command of the English language as well as a caring and patient nature. Full curriculum and induction are provided.

These classes are in great demand and are a valuable source of learning and education for our migrant community. This is a rewarding volunteer role that will really make a difference to the lives of others.
