Weed Eradication - Biodiversity Protection Volunteers in Wellington Park

We need volunteers to assist us in our primary focus which is to endeavour to halt the spread of weed species and eradicate where possible. The aim of the Wellington Park Bushcare Group is to maintain and enhance the native flora and fauna of the major natural icon of Hobart, Wellington Park, and to educate Park users of the high biodiversity values and ways to protect them. We conduct working bees on the first Tuesday of every month from approximately 8.30am - 1.30 pm, and you can visit our website to find out details of our current and future working bees: Please note that starting and finishing times can vary depending on the event location.
