Port Macquarie’s Koala Hospital is a not-for-profit facility that not only treats sick and injured koalas but is also involved in conservation, education and research into koala diseases and habitat.  Over the last few years scientific research and collaboration with research institutions, government agencies and wildlife organisations has grown, and we have become an authoritative body  in the care and rehabilitation of koalas.

To fund our work, we rely on donations, souvenir sales and bequests as well as our Adopt a Wild Koala and e-adoption programs.

We are now looking for a proactive Adoptions Coordinator who can lead and develop the adoptions team as well as :

·         Marketing and promoting  the Adopt a Wild Kola program through media channels, advertising and special event promotions etc ·         Ongoing review of the adoption packages to maintain interest, eg a different package being sent out when adoptions are renewed ·         Ensuring the accuracy of the database ·         Ensuring adoption packages are mailed out to recipients promptly and renewal notices are sent out on time ·         Ensuring all issues and queries are handled promptly ·         Preparing written reports for Committee and Annual General Meeting
