The Cancer Support Group is an effective and powerful means for individuals to learn about up to date evidence based information pertaining to cancer and its treatments as well as receive emotional support from sharing with and hearing from others who understand.
Volunteers who elect to Co Facilitate these monthly group meetings find the role to be highly rewarding, not only from the privilege of sharing in the cancer journeys of members but also due to learning a great deal about cancer and treatments which they can then pass on to others.
