Welcome to my yard is changing the lives of street connected and at-risk children, young people and families in some of the worlds most disadvantaged communities so that children and young people can be safe, be inspired, have choices and opportunities and to enable positive futures.

Welcome to my yard is registered in Australia (head office), the UK and Nepal. Our current focus is on supporting at-risk children and young people in Nepal through Welcome to my yard Nepal. Beginning our work in 2005 and opening our first community Centre in 2011, Welcome to my yard has now supported 2,000 children, young people and young adults through our involve, enable and inspire approach.

Project- Transitioning our not for profit city walks over to a new booking site

**Time frame for project: **4 weeks

Background: we are midway through transitioning our not for profit business over to a new booking site (Bokun & Viator). The main transition work is already complete but we need support from a web developer with experience in this type of work to support us with

1. Booking site work (on Bokun)
   1. Testing site and dealing with snagging issues
   2. Working with our Nepal team to understand and make the most of the booking site features and setting the features up for the team (automated emails, special offers, connecting to third party vendors etc)
   3. Provide a short training on how to manage the bookings (at a non-technical level)
2. Transition over to Viator
   1. Once Bokun is complete we will then need setting up with Trip Advisor ‘Viator’ to accept bookings through there. The volunteer will guide the team through the set up process.
3. Website work
   1. Making a few tweaks to improve the visual look of the page and dealing with snagging issues (like API versus Widgets)
   2. Embed City Walk instagram
   3. Setting up a new google analytics code
   4. Improving the page SEO
4. Air bnb experiences
   1. Guide the team through the set up process and handle any technical work required (there may not be any)

This is a crucial function of our not-for profit social enterprise running out of Kathmandu Nepal as it helps to maintain and support the financial sustainability of the support services we are able to provide.
