Logo for Australian Red Cross

• Time frame: 6 month project • Time Commitment  - 4 hours/week or as required

The Program The Mobilisation Hub aims to inspire Tasmanians to take humanitarian action in daily life. We highlight the good work done by Red Cross volunteers and members to help those experiencing vulnerability and look for ways to encourage more kindness and compassion within our community

The opportunity This role suits someone over the age of 18 who is a good listener and communicator. Story tellers will meet with people from diverse backgrounds and create short stories to share, which highlight their contributions to Red Cross and the community more generally. Experience with journalism, photography and videography would be ideal. Time commitment is flexible, but we would like to create 1 new story per week.

The impact As a Story teller, you will help to collect the stories of people who have dedicated their lives to helping others, celebrating their achievements and showing appreciation for their efforts. You will help inspire others through documenting positive stories of kindness and humanitarian action in our community.  Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.

For more information, please contact Pippa French on 0466 349 887 - Monday-Thursday.
